” Discover My Africa and Annie put together a wonderful Southern African experience for us. The recommendations of where to go and stay, the overall organization of the experience and the managing and monitoring of our trip, were all flawlessly and excellently performed. We had a trip of a lifetime that will live with us forever. Thank you Annie, for making this all possible and fun and safe to do. We look forward to another great experience with you!”
Thank you also for the birthday treats along the way!
Annie, we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip and thank you for all the planning. The safari and cheetah walks were wonderful. A trip of a lifetime!
Morning Annie, Margaret and I are having THE best travel and experiences of our lives! No exaggeration. We are most very grateful to you for your wonderful planning. Many, many thanks!
Annie, if you could just hear us! We are sharing our trip and YOU all over the world. Thank you for giving us the trip of a lifetime. We cannot wait to come back and will count on you again to make our arrangements.
I am very pleased to tell that we are more satisfied with our Kenya trip. We do appreciate that you have organized a wonderful trip for us. We have never even anticipated that this trip can be such a great success to us. Everything was perfect and we even did not need to consider anything. The service was great and every detail was good. We really have to thank you very very much.
Dear Annie,
Thank you so much for our wonderful Birthday bash trip. It was outstanding and you did an amazing job…highlighted by a trip to the cheetah which will remain in my mind forever…..The best present EVER! Thank you thank you…
What a surreal experience. Loved Ngomo lodge and Royal Chundu.
“When I asked Annie to investigate options for a trip to Vic falls with my Australian Rotary host sister whom I haven’t seen in 36 years, I was undergoing chemo and radiation treatment for a reoccurrence of Breast cancer. Annie took care of all my arrangements, supplied me with various options, both in terms of cost and styles of travel.
We stayed at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, and Annie had booked us a table by the “window” overlooking the waterhole. I say “window” as this restaurant is three storeys up, and has no glass. It is just a huge open window. We took our binoculars to dinner much to the amusement of other guests. Every bedroom was 5 star, with a balcony over the waterhole, and the swimming pool deck also overlooked this beautiful area. Our days were just a constant train of buffalo, elephant, kudu, warthogs to name but a few.
We rode elephants, bonded with them had amazing breakfast and hot chocolate, canoed down the Zambezi with the best guide who was so knowledgeable about birds, followed by an amazing lunch on the banks of the Zambezi at a 5 * tented Hotel.
For me one of the highlights was the “historical Tour of the bridge”. Who would have through one could be so thoroughly entertained, and learn so much. This is well worth doing. Our dinner at the Boma was amazing and we all learnt to drum.
Earlier this year, Annie also arranged a long weekend for my family at Umzolozolo at Nambiti Hills near Ladysmith. We had previously been to two other camps, but this camp blew us away with the quality of both the food and service.
In June, my husband and I were privileged to join Annie and a group for a week trip to Etosha. Words can’t express this experience. Etosha has a raw harsh beauty so different to our parks, and I fell in Love. What’s not to love about Africa?
I will use Annie as my travel agent, because she knows how to book you an affordable holiday that blows your hair back.”
Hi Annie. We made it back ok – save for some lost luggage and a missed connection due to a MASSIVE storm that tore through Jo’burg, the return trip was a breeze. Which was the case throughout the entire experience – Annie, thank you so, so, so much for organising everything. Everywhere we went everything was arranged, everyone knew when we were arriving and knew who we were. They pampered us and helped make it the trip of a lifetime. The info pack answered any questions we had and everything went so smoothly that we were just able to completely relax. Genuinely, an incredible trip that was made that way because of you. Again, thank you.
“All we can say is “AWESOME”. What a fantastic week! Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful trip.”
A special note of thanks for an amazing holiday in Zim, we thoroughly enjoyed all the activities (also adding in a jet boat ride and sunset cruise when we arrived). The meals were amazing, the hotel was perfect. For me the highlight was definitely the heli trip over the falls – purely because I’d never done it before and it gave us so much perspective – we could visualise all the channels, islands, different sections of the falls etc and put everything in its place. All-in-all a really happy and restful holiday.
Wow, we were blown away by our stay at Grand Dedale. We had really been looking forward to our break, and expectations were already high due to the quality reflected on the website. The reality though, surpassed our expectations. The cottage was beautifully furnished and the service received from Angelo and team was exceptional. Thank you for all your assistance to make our trip effortless and very memorable.
The trip was fantastic! Also, I wanted to thank you for the beautiful book on South Africa. The photos are inspirational and it was such a nice treat to find it waiting in our room when we arrived!
The wineries were fabulous and lunch was incredible. I could not get over how beautiful the scenery/countryside is. A little rain did not deter us. We were absolutely blown away by the holiday and cannot praise you enough for the trip you put together and the superb follow up.
Thanks again!
Hi Annie,
At last I have got down to dropping you a note to thank you for a wonderful holiday we had in Botswana. I shall certainly recommend your services to other friends should the occasion arise. By the way the weather there at this time of the year was superb.
Dear Annie
It`s now already a month we are back and we really had a wonderful time in Krüger, more than I ever expected! You choose a wonderful trip for us and every place had his own beauty.
We were amazed by the variety of beautiful wild animals, wow! Our house in Skukuza was a big surprise, a lot of space on our own, at the river, and we just could sit on the veranda and watch the hippos! That was definitely the best! From there to Tshukudu, and this private lodge is definitely great! You can feel a lot of heart and passion, not only for the orphaned animals, also for the workers there and of course for the guests and the kids. I felt like a king- family, they were so heartfelt and spoilt us, the place we stayed was beautiful and the workers were so friendly and did everything for us. We would love to go back to that place anytime and I could not imagine time goes so quick. Thank you, Annie, you blessed us so much!
